Haapsalu Kuuse Unit

Our homes are located in the town of Haapsalu. Our unit consists of three apartments located in separate houses and on separate floors.  

Ten people live with us and are supported by two Personal Assistants. We all go to work, whether it be part time or full time. We work in the meat industry, as cleaners or as groundskeepers. We take pride in the fact that we are valuable employees and are pleased that our needs are taken into consideration in everyday life.  

After work, we like to read. We read books that we check out from the library as well as the local newspaper we are subscribed to. The residents who are interested in sports go swimming at the pool twice a week. We take walks together almost every day and in any weather. Each of us has our own hobbies: drawing, computer games, music – and we get to do all of these things to our heart's content! We celebrate birthdays and other holidays together.  

Our home is suitable for someone with an intellectual disability who is considerate of others and is willing to take part in group activities.
